Evergreen Stella Daylily (2.5 Quart) Flowering Perennial with Yellow Blooms – Full Sun Live Outdoor Plant – Southern Living Plants

The Evergreen Stella Daylily is quite a stunner from the Southern Living Plant Collection! This is the ‘improved’ version of the classic Stella de Oro Daylily. Unlike the Stella de Oro, this daylily is evergreen and it has an extended bloom period. It produces golden-yellow trumpet blooms from spring through fall. The foliage is bright green and grows in clumps that spread over time. This is a perfect choice for container gardens, the foreground of mixed garden beds or hedges, borders, or as a groundcover. It’s hardy from USDA Zones 4-9 and grows well in Full Sun to Part Shade. Plant in garden soil with good drainage and water 2-3 times per week for the first growing season. These Evergreen Stella Daylilies are well-rooted in their pots and will tend to be 6-10 inches tall when shipped. They are not guaranteed to be in bloom on arrival.
