The Clear2O Universal Advanced CTO Solid Carbon Water Filter is often the finishing filter installed in a filtration system unit using a 2.5” x 10” filter housing and works to remove contaminants and clean, polish, and de-odorize the water. The Solid Carbon Block filter is made of 100% natural and renewable Coconut activated carbon powder that is formed into a cylinder under heat and pressure, creating a solid carbon block in which water is forced under pressure to penetrate. This filter is rated at a 5 µ (Micron) level which blocks contaminants larger than 5 µ and still allows for reasonable flow rate and filter capacity.
