United Chemical No Mor Muriatic Acid Swimming Pool pH Reducer – 2.5 Pounds

No Mor Muriatic Acid is a granular chemical designed to slowly lower the pH and alkalinity of swimming pool water so you never have to use muriatic acid again. It is safer to handle and use than liquid acids and more efficient. One 2.5 pound granular bottle is equivalent to 1 gallon of muriatic acid. No Mor Muriatic Acid is fast dissolving and especially great for pools with chlorine generators. Directions for use: Always adjust total alkalinity first because high total alkalinity will create an almost constant acid demand. Dissolve or pre-dilute No Mor Muriatic Acid in a bucket of water first, then broadcast into the deep end of the pool when not in use with pump and filter running. Never add more than 1.5 pounds of this product per 10,000 gallons at any one time. Allow pool water to recirculate 2 hours and retest pH and repeat treatment as necessary. Wait one hour before swimming after treatment. If you routinely add 16 ounces of muriatic acid to lower the pH, you use 10 ounces of No Mor Muriatic Acid to gain the same results. If you add 1 quart then use 20 ounces of No Mor Muriatic Acid. CAUTION: Do not mix this product directly with any chlorinated chemical product or any oxidizer. Note: Product is a wet mix that may compact during shipping. Tap the container on a firm surface and shake to loosen before use.
