Some screws that are included in the kits remain phillips heads but are still stainless steel.
We have done this for strength, as a result of our field testing, on small diameter screws (2mm and 2-56″ diameter).
This may include some chassis screws and differential screws.
All other remain socket head.
NOTE: Our kits do not include any machined collared screws or screw pins (pins with threads on the end).
 Also, Traxxas flat cap screws (ex: 3931/4859) are patent pending and are replaced in our kits with correct diameter button heads and/or low profile cap screws depending on location.
Where to find screw locations: The manuals or schematics can be found on the vehicles manufacturers website – they give screw type and location, or if rebuilds/repairs are the process then the removal and replacement method is used.
NOTE: This manual does NOT come with this screw kit.
