Pure Ceylon Green TeaThe manufacturing process for Green Tea differs from traditional Black Tea.
In that, Ceylon Tea leaves are heated either through pan-frying or steaming rather left to wither.
Due to the process, Green Tea maintain its original fresh flavour & prevent tea leaves to turn black.
Due to the lower processing, Pure Ceylon Green Tea contains a higher concentration of antioxidants including myricetin, quercetin & kaempfeol.
Pure Ceylon Green Tea contains low amount of Caffeine, compare to Black Tea or Coffee, it is about 24 to 40mg compared to Black Tea 95-200mg per cup.
Green Tea helps to improve brain functions & take away the negative effect of jitteriness of Caffeine due to the low amount of Caffeine & Amino acid L-theanine.
Also Green Tea helps to fat burning & reduce weight by boosting human metabolism.
Brew for a fresh cup of Pure Ceylon Green Tea – “The Magic Pheasant” The water used should be fresh & pure.
Spring water is best.
Green Tea should be brewed with water that has been rested after boiling.
If not the tea leaves will be scorched & the flavour would become bitter.
Usually 1 tea bag is used per 8 ounce cup of water.
Pure Ceylon Green Tea should steep from 30-60 seconds or from 2-3 minutes.
You can add milk to your green tea but it is recommended not to, as this may overpower the taste.
