It is recommended to test your water weekly and maintain levels between 6.8 and 7.8 for freshwater aquariums. Reads pH range from 6.2 to 8.4. Directions: Remove test strip from foil pack, dip pad into aquarium water and then remove. Do not shake excess water off of strip. Wait 15 seconds and the compare the pH pad color to the color chart on the foil wrap. To adjust pH, add correct pH tablets. An important part of maintaining healthy pH levels in your aquarium is monthly water changes. Be sure to use a water conditioner such as startright when adding water to your aquarium. Store in a cool, dry area out of direct sunlight.
