The Bottlebrush shrub gets its name from its cylindrical, brush-like flowers. This variety is drought resistant, and requires very little maintenance once established. The Bottlebrush can bring vibrant color to your garden area at various times throughout the year with its ability to produce these flowers in the spring and then once again in the summer. Although they are drought resistance the Bottlebrush does prefer moist soil, so a drip system is recommended. Attracts nectar feeding birds. The tree loves warm climate, moist soil, and a lot of sunlight. The tree reaches a mature height of 10 feet. It is suitable for USDA Zones 8-11 and is shipped in a #1 pot with an average height of 12-18 inches.
