HOW TO: Apply to all metal surfaces that may come in contact with your skin (earrings, rings, watches, clasps, etc.). Apply a clear coat with the brush to a metal surface. Allow to dry for a least 30 minutes before touching or wearing and enjoy! Use fingernail polish remover to remove L’Protect.

How does L’Protect differ from clear nail polish

This coating is different from clear nail polish as it is a lacquer specifically for metals. This formula is more similar to the clear coating that is put over the paint layers on cars formulated for use with jewelry and sensitive skin. This formula is intended to last longer without chipping as clear nail polish does. It does rub off over time but only requires a single, even coat to protect your skin and your jewelry. Additionally, though you can use nail polish remover to take the coating off, it creates a sticky glue glob instead of just rubbing off the surface.
