Bush’s Best Black Bean Soup

A black bean soup recipe with a little salsa and chili powder to spice things up. Try topping with shredded cheese and sour cream to cool things back down.

Ingredients:

• 1 can (26.5 oz) Bush’s Black Beans, undrained
• 1 can (16 oz) chicken broth
• 1/2 cup salsa
• 1 Tbsp chili powder
• Shredded cheese (optional)
• Sour cream (optional)
• Chopped onion (optional)
• Cilantro (optional)

Directions:

1. Mash one can of beans with potato masher or food processor.
2. Pour both cans of beans into medium saucepan.
3. Add chicken broth, salsa, and chili powder. Bring to a boil.
4. If desired top with shredded cheese, sour cream, onion, and cilantro!
